Aquafleur is a tangle that had been giving me some problems, so when I attended the Renaissance class, I took the opportunity to ask CZT Mabel about it π
With CZT Mabel's help I think I have a better understanding of the tangle and its execution and decided to use it to test the Renaissance effects with other coloured Microns.
I am liking Aquafleur (though I admit I need more practice and perhaps need more creativity when it comes to step outs)... but since I was obsessing over Aquafleur (and check it out! The Diva's Weekly Zentangle Challenge appears to be Aquafleur) - MY FIRST EVER DIVA CHALLENGE!!!! WOOHOO! ππππ...
I've seen Zen Gems before but sadly CZT Mabel's class on Zen Gems was before I knew about Zentangle so I had to make do with Youtube videos. Passable? π.
Gorgeous tile and i love this turquoise gem :-))

DeleteGreat work on the different colored Aquafleur. The gem turned out well. Look at it a few days later and maybe you will not be as critical.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your encouragement! =)
DeleteI thought to myself I don't remember Rainbows and Raindrops before nice to see a new face I hope we see you at Joey's Challenges as well as It's a string thing by Adele. Hard to believe you are just starting beautiful Aquafleurs! Looking forward to seeing more.

DeleteI don't think I've chanced upon It's a String Thing yet but I will check it out shortly!
One of my latest tiles incorporates an aquafleur too! I think I'm addicted! You can see it here =): https://mycraftbubble.blogspot.sg/2017/07/leading-waybop.html
